      Epic Tales | DIY Creators: Make Your Own Zine (12 - 16 years)

      Got a story to share and ready to self-publish? DIY! Unleash your voice. Make your own mini-magazine and fill it with your own words and illustrations, guided by a professional writer and illustrator team. In this two-day creative workshop, you'll learn the basics of penning your stories and self-publishing to bring your imagination and those imaginative stories in your head to your readers. Share your voice! This two-day workshop is designed for young people of secondary school age. Participants will learn a range of writing forms and illustration techniques, and fill a zine with the work they produce. Location: Scarborough LibraryTimes: 10 - 11 July, 9.30am - 12.30pm Ages: 12 - 16 YearsCost: $10.00 Important Information Please note that this workshop runs for 2 days; Tuesday 10 July and Wednesday 11 July. Participants are required to attend each day. This workshop is presented by James Foley and Ken Spillman for the City of Stirling's Epic Tales storytelling workshop series.
